Kind. That one word describes Dr. Jeon’s demeanor and approach to his patients. Dr. Jeon was inspired to pursue a career in medicine due to his personal experience with his family medicine physician. He was impressed with how his physician treated him and provided emotional support during his teen years while he endured a severe medical condition. That is why in his practice, Dr. Jeon addresses the entire individual. He not only treats the physical person but also provides mental and emotional support to offer a full solution to his patients. As a family medicine physician, he is fortunate to be able to treat entire families from the children through the grandparents. Dr. Jeon truly enjoys getting to know his patients. He views himself as a partner to his patients and emphasizes the importance of preventative medicine. As he states, “My goal is to help my patients enjoy their daily lives and stay healthy as long as possible.” Fluent in Korean, Dr. Jeon attended University of California, San Diego for his undergraduate education, received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine and completed his residency at University of California, Riverside Family Medicine Program. During his free time, Dr. Jeon enjoys playing tennis and reading fantasy novels.

She views her role as both a physician and an educator and aims to understand, research and synthesize the information to help her patients make informed decisions. Her goal is to empower her patients to take control of their lives. According to Dr. Phan, “I want to offer my patients a care plan unique to their situation. My ultimate goal is the improved health of my patients and community. I am able to achieve this by leveraging my knowledge and utilizing the resources available to me at Hoag.” Fluent in Spanish and Vietnamese, Dr. Phan attended medical school at University of California, San Diego and completed her residency at Long Beach Memorial. A mother of three young children, Dr. Phan enjoys family time, sports, exercise, reading, traveling, and cooking.
