Jody Leng, MD, MS

Dr. Daugherty is a transplant Hepatologist with full-time clinical responsibilities. She is particularly interested in the natural course and management of recurrent Hepatitis C after liver transplant, and the effect of immunosuppression on HCV recurrence.

Niaz Banaei received his medical education from Stanford University. During medical school he developed a passion for infectious diseases diagnostics while conducting diagnostic research on Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Mexico and South Africa. After medical school he completed residency training in Clinical Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in tuberculosis pathogenesis at the New York University. He then moved back to Stanford University to join the department of Pathology and serve as Medical Director of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory at Stanford Health Care.

Dr. Langlotz is Professor of Radiology, Medicine, and Biomedical Data Science and Senior Associate Vice Provost for Research at Stanford University. His laboratory investigates the use of deep neural networks and other machine learning technologies to detect disease and eliminate diagnostic errors through analysis of medical images and clinical notes. He is a Senior Fellow at Stanford’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence and Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI Center), which supports over 150 Stanford faculty conducting interdisciplinary artificial intelligence research that optimizes how clinical data are used to promote health.
