Joanna Nelson

In 2015 Dr. Carroll collaborated With Stanford's Neuroradiology and Neurology Headache divisions to create the Stanford CSF Leak Headache Program after his daughter suffered through an initially-undiagnosed CSF leak. This experience left him with a passion for helping patients experiencing CSF leaks around the world. He is board-certified in four different specialties: Headache Medicine by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties; Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine; Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology; and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. His primary focus is on spinal cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks.

Dr. Braunschweig is a board-certified family medicine doctor. She provides care for the entire family and welcomes patients of all ages. Her special interests include women’s health, children’s health, and mental health. For each patient, she develops a personalized plan of care. Her goal is to help every individual achieve the best possible health and quality of life. Another special interest of Dr. Braunschweig is medical education. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Primary Care and Population Health, at Stanford University School of Medicine. The training of health care professionals in low-resource settings is one of her key research interests. Another is reproductive justice.

Bryant Lin, MD, MEng is a primary care physician, educator and researcher. The cornerstone of Dr. Lin's work is keeping medicine focused on humans - patients, providers, families and trainees - and not lost in technology and algorithms. His research and educational interests span (1) Developing and testing novel medical technologies, (2) Improving the health of Asian populations with Precision and Population Health, and (3) Increasing expression and interconnections in the Health Community with the Humanities and Arts.
