History

The need for an out patient mental and behavioral field was realized as there was only 1 psychiatrist practicing in the City of Merced In 1992 individuals with private insurance needed to be seen locally so they would not have to travel to bigger cities with more psychiatric practitioners. This opened an opportunity for M Daisy Ilano MD, psychiatrist, to help individuals living in the city and the outlying areas of Atwater, Dos Palos, Gustine,Snelling, Los Banos, Merced Falls,El Nido, Livingston, Stevenson, Delhi, Le Grand, Newman, Turlock, Chowchilla, Madera, Fresno, Modesto, Lodi, Ceres and Manteca with their problems and she has been seeing them eversince and up to now for the last 22 years.

Specialties

We are a complete out patient mental health facility serving Merced City and County. We provide initial diagnosis for evaluation of all mental illnesses and and other psychological disorders including anxiety disorders, mood disorders and schizophrenia. We also provide Cognitive and Behavioral therapy in conjunction with or without pharmacological intervention. Dr. M Daisy Ilano is our Chief Psychiatrist and she has been working with patients in the City and County of Merced since 1992.
