Established in 1958 as an elementary school, Jefferson Middle School enrolls students in grades six through eight. The school covers an area of more than 10 acres and features a cafeteria, library, playground, computer room and over 25 classrooms. Its educational programs include instruction in English, math, science, social studies, art, Spanish, instrumental music, and health, life management and physical education. It also provides special education programs for students with special needs. Jefferson Middle School organizes several cocurricular events and enrichment activities. The school has a parent-teacher-student association and student council that coordinate with the school in organizing fundraising programs and social activities. Located in Torrance, Calif., it operates under the Torrance Unified School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools.

Loved this school! I had recently moved in the area when i started middle school so everything was new. The teachers and the kids (quite a few who became good frienfs) made the transition easier.

I do not recommend anyone at ALL to go to this school. This school is highly unorganized and unprofessional. Many of the teachers do not teach. They do not provide an adequate learning experience....
