At the crossroads of one of the most culturally significant neighborhoods in San Francisco's rich history, the Jazz Heritage Center is a beacon for the many diverse generations that have called the Fillmore District home over the past century and certainly to those that reside there now. Paying homage to its Harlem of the West heyday, the Jazz Heritage Center seeks to preserve, celebrate and cherish the Fillmore District's rich jazz heritage while inspiring a new generation of fans and musicians, revitalizing interest and buzz in the area and fostering new relationships with other jazz organizations throughout the nation.
