Jawbone Canyon Store

The World Famous Jawbone Canyon Store is located 20mi. north of Mojave on Hwy.14, about one third of the way from L.A. to Mammouth Mountain. We cater to bikers, hikers, campers, truckers, skiers, boarders, and t-shirt hoarders. Opened in the 1950's by famed female aviatrix Pancho Barnes and her husband Mac Mckendry, we continue to delight travelers from all over the world who are amazed to find such a fun, family-friendly place in the middle of nowhere. Currently owned by Scott and Patty Spencer, and operated by Scott's brother Bobby and his dog Bear, the store sells a wide variety of convenience store products, camping essentials, dirt bike and quad parts, 32 varieties of beer, ice, firewood, gas, propane, and our very own Jawbone Jerky. Our Deli offers delicious breakfast and lunch selections 7 days a week, and our famous tri tip sandwich on weekends.
