Founded by Antonio Moreno in 1975, Javier Taco's Mexico began as a catering truck offering authentic Mexican tacos made from family recipes and the freshest ingredients. The success of the food truck led to the opening of a brick-and-mortar restaurant in 1977 in Los Angeles, which still operates today.

Over the years, the menu expanded to include items such as tortas, sopes, quesadillas, and burritos, all prepared from specially seasoned and marinated meats. Despite the passing of Mr. Moreno in 2009, his legacy continues with nearly 100 locations across Southern California and beyond, dedicated to serving fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine.
