Javier Andres Lopez Moncayo, MD

Javier Lopez Moncayo, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Lopez Moncayo earned his medical degree from Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador. He completed his internship and residency at Seton Hall University-St. Francis Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Lopez Moncayo chose internal medicine with a focus on geriatrics because of the profound difference he can make in helping older people achieve their best possible health, even later in life. Patients give him high marks for the extra time he takes to address their questions and address concerns. They also say he is empathetic, patient and involves them in making decisions about their treatment options. In his spare time, Dr. Lopez Moncayo enjoys working out at the gym, running, listening to music and watching comedy on Netflix. In addition to English, he speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
