She is also the Director of the Global Health Force which a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering medical services and supplies to under-served areas of the world.

Dr. Chu has spent her entire adult life as a UCLA Bruin from completing her undergraduate degree in Business, Masters degree in Education to completing her Family Medicine Residency at UCLA, after growing up in West Virginia and earning her medical degree from WVU.
