Jared Meeker Music Academy was formerly called Spiderfingers Guitar Studio from 1999-2009.

Jared Meeker specialized in guitar and bass lessons to students age 5-adult ranging from beginning to advanced/professional playing levels. Lessons cater to each student's specific needs and learning styles. Through his own vast collection of lessons, Jared makes sure that students leave after each lesson with learning materials and a practice assignment sheet. Jared works with each student to set goals, explore their specific interests, and develop their inspirations. Through his 15 years of teaching experience at National Guitar Workshop and UCLA, and 4 years experience as an instructional video teacher at Alfred Music Publishing, he knows which methods work and how to apply those to various learning styles. Lessons cover music theory, technique, repertoire, and reading.
