HistoryWe are a private music studio in the Richmond District of San Francisco, family-run by professional instructors, Thomas and Melinda. We are classically trained, performing musicians with over 20 years of combined teaching experience. Our vision for Make Music SF is to share our knowledge and passion for music with our students.SpecialtiesMake Music SF offers private guitar and voice lessons for all ages and levels. We teach time-tested, healthy playing and singing techniques that give our students a solid foundation while learning. We schedule lessons Mon-Thur from 10am until 7pm. Our extensive sheet music library allows our students access to their choice of over 200 songs/pieces from several different genres of music. We are able to take the healthy technique we teach, and adapt it to whatever style of music our students are studying, whether it be Classical, Jazz, Rock, Soul, Folk, Indie, Musical Theater or Pop. Our main focus is our students, and we give personalized lesson plans, created by our experienced teachers, tailored to the unique learning needs of each person. Our private studio is a perfect setting for individual learning and is roomy enough to accommodate group lessons of between 2-6 people by special request.
