The James H. Clark Center at Stanford University is a pioneering research facility that embodies the collaborative spirit of Bio-X, merging diverse disciplines such as biology, medicine, chemistry, physics, and engineering under one roof. Opened in 2003, the 245,000 square foot center is designed to foster innovation and idea exchange through its open lab spaces and fluid connections between researchers.
Designed by Foster and Partners in collaboration with MBT Architecture, the Clark Center features a striking design with three wings surrounding a central courtyard and includes a circular stage for events.
