Jacob s Farm is a family-owned specialty farm that grows a complete line of culinary herbs and vegetables, with its warehouse located in South San Francisco, Calif., and the farm located nearby on the California coast. Founded in 1980 as an organic farm, its line of more than 60 herbs includes exotic herbs and vegetables, such as English peas, sugar snap peas, arugula, red beets, edible flowers, fava beans and olallieberries. The cultivated area is more than 200 acres. In 1985, it founded Del Cabo, a project in California that assists small growers by teaching organic growing practices, management and organizational skills. Jacob s Farm also connects them to markets in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
