History

J Charnay Salon was established on El Paseo on May 7, 2012 and merged with American Hairlines (a salon of over 30 years in it's location) after purchase on April 17, 2017. This merging of two salons brought together a talented group of hair care specialists. Jeannette Charnay, owner of J Charnay Salon began as a hair colorist and haircut/stylist in Palm Springs at A Cut Above in 1988 and has worked at various local and Los Angeles established salons since. J Charnay salon has 8 hair care specialist with 7 to 30 years of experience. We bring, education, fun, current style and expertise to the experience at our salon. We also have a skin care specialist and two nail care specialist offering the best in skin and nail care. We cater to all ages, female and male and look forward to every client visiting or living in our valley permanently.
