History

Coming from a long line of photographers, Izabela had a unique chance to grow up in a photography studio. It is there, in a dark room of a family-owned studio, at the age of three, that she saw an image of her mom's smiling face appear on a photographic paper. She fell in love with photography at that very moment. Her passion for photography only grew stronger over the years and accompanied her through her travels and life experiences as a profession, source of comfort, means of expressing love to those around her, and a meditative practice. Izabela Sekowska Photography is a result of the passion for the craft and the drive to promote a message of the unique beauty of each individual, through the photographic medium. It is a product of the sheer joy of capturing life's special moments for our clients and the privilege of helping them discover their own beauty.

From fine art to journalistic style portraiture, we aim to connect with every person in a unique way. We understand the complex relationship many of us have with the camera and make the process simple and fun even for the most introverted clients. Our special mission is to hold space especially for those that feel uncertain about being in front of the camera and to show them their unique beauty through our lens.
