With a successful background in the restaurant, entertainment and management industries, Itza applies all of the skills she has acquired over the years effortlessly and has the ability to see solutions where most only see problems. Itza enjoys volunteering her time to numerous charitable institutions including the Tournament of Roses, Gentle Barn, Surf for Life and Habitat for Humanity. She also helped coordinate Pasadena's very first TEDx event and is involved in a number of TED activities.
