Stopped here after a dr appointment, Cute little laundromat right by the ferry, owners were nice and welcoming. Definitely would come back if I came to Newport more often.

The Island Wash opened in 1962 to serve the many renters, vacationers, college students and others on or near Balboa Island with their laundry needs. Our family has owned and operated the business since 1966, over 50 years!

Commercial grade washers for large items such as blankets and rugs available. Change and soap machines available for your convenience. Accessible to boaters via the public dock at Opal Ave. one block away on the South Bay front. Parking available in rear. Stroll the bay front, relax on the beach or take a ferry boat ride while your laundry is being done. There's no better place to do your laundry than the Island Wash!

Cute, old-fashioned laundry mat with an old-time detergent machine and soda machine. Clean, zero homeless which is THE BEST! I like the big daddy machines to launder my big blankets and...

Cute laundromat But getting to it is ridiculous unless u have a golf cart. Little parking and you have traffic from the ferry. Only one big machine was working.

We love this laundromat! Been using it for years. We love that it is actually still coin operated, not to mention that it's clean with great hours. Same owners for over 50 years. They're great folks.

Great place. It is always clean and the owner was quick to respond when I had an issue. Good prices as well for the area- only $6 for their 4 load large washing machine.
