International School Of The Peninsula

International School of the Peninsula, located in Palo Alto, Calif., is an independent, coeducational school. It offers various bilingual programs for students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school was established in 1979, as the Peninsula French-American School and enrolls more than 400 students. It offers two nursery through fifth-grade immersion programs, including Chinese to English and French to English. The school also offers two middle school programs, including French to English and international baccalaureate. The French-English Middle School provides academic curriculum that is fully aligned with the French Ministry of Education. The International Middle School, based on the international baccalaureate program, provides a student-centered curriculum that enhances self-awareness and international knowledge.
