International School of Music

History

The International School of Music was established in 1993 by Saro Mangasarian. Saro believed that everyone should have the opportunity to receive high quality music education. The ISM has provided rich educational opportunities for people of all ages, and has achieved a distinguished reputation in Southern California as a prestigious music conservatory. In 2019, Susanna Zhamkochyan was installed as the new president of the International School of Music. Susanna has a long-standing, deep connection to the International School of Music.

Specialties

The International School of Music provides a complete classical conservatory education, including preparation for full orchestral performances, solo performance management and promotion for advanced students, preparing students for performances in auditions and renowned competitions, and university placement. At the end of each recital, students can earn certificates of completion and trophies. The International School of Music prepares graduates for professional careers in the classical music industry. ISM provides resources and structural facilities that will aid and inspire a student's creative and professional goals. At the International School of Music we believe that music education and / or arts in general, is one of the most important and inspiring experiences a child, youth or adult can enjoy. We are devoted to providing students with an exceptional educational and artistic experience while fostering a lifelong appreciation, and commitment to excellence in music.
