Interfaith Food Center is a non-faith-based, non-profit charity organization that has been serving the hungry and homeless neighbors in Whittier, La Mirada, and Santa Fe Springs for over 40 years. Founded in 1983 by a group of compassionate individuals from local churches and synagogues, the center started as a community-based food distribution center to address the growing need for assistance among malnourished senior citizens living on fixed incomes and limited Social Security dollars.
Today, Interfaith Food Center continues to provide vital support to low-income families, offering food donations, nutrition programs, and volunteer opportunities. As a proud graduate of the Annenberg Foundation's Alchemy Leadership Seminar, the center is committed to capacity building and ensuring the well-being of its community members in need.

Girl at the front was extremely hostile about us being homeless and the food they gave us was already rotting and molded.
This isn't the first time this has happened. I tell your Volunteers every week about this. It's not fair. I'm Handicap and had to park in the Alley. Hope something gets done about this.
