History

Intellgen Education was founded in 2019 in Orange County, California, by David Dai and Eric Yin, software engineers who wanted their kids to enjoy learning coding and be prepared for the high school STEM success. As software engineers, both David and Eric realized that strong logical thinking was needed for success in higher level STEM. With that in mind, David and Eric created a series of courses for their kids to on a weekly basis. Through weekly practice and a commitment to mastering programming concepts, their kids were able to enjoy coding and started to write code by using a code-style logical thinking to solve differential logical problems. As abilities improved, parents took notice. Interest in the self-learning method continued to grow. The first Intellegen Education coding center opened in 2020.

Intellegen Education is the leading coding academy for kids and teens in grades K - 8. Our mission is to prepare students for success with STEM education by teaching them how to code.
