Integral Body was founded in 1992 by Dr. Giulietta Octavio as a center for massage therapy and nutritional counseling. In 2002, it added acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, chi nei tsang, chinese herbal medicine, supplements and abdominal massage. Integral Body is a locally, woman owned and operated small business who has been proud to support San Francisco for over 24 years! We help adults and children with acute and chronic health conditions by providing personalized, holistic healthcare.

Dr. Giulietta Octavio is a licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture, Herbalism and Chinese Medicine. She has over 15 years experience treating all types of pain, stress, allergies, digestion, immunity, depression, anxiety, menopause, pms, enhancing sports performance, headaches, thyroid and adrenal imbalances, diet issues, detox, infertility, liver disease and cancer alone or in combination. Dr. Octavio does Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, Chi Nei Tsang, Medical Massage, Sports Massage, Crania-Sacral Therapy, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Holistic Nutrition and Counseling. Dr. Octavio is trained in both Eastern Medicine and Western Functional Medicine. This means she uses standard laboratory testing to assess and diagnose, treats your test verified imbalance and then re-tests to ensure the treatment is working. She will work with your Primary Care Doctor, Ob/Gyn, Endocrinologist or Pediatrician to personalize the best healthcare treatment options for you. Dr. Octavio serves patients well versed in Eastern Medicine as well as patients skeptical or afraid of Acupuncture. She prides herself on being able to explain medical treatments and their benefits in easy to understand terms.
