InSight Health Corporation provides services to more than 60,000 patients across the United States each month. The corporation provides diagnostic imaging and imaging-guided therapy services. It operates and manages freestanding imaging centers and hospital-based radiology services as well as providing mobile magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography and lithotripsy services. Headquartered in Lake Forest, Calif., Insight has fixed-site and mobile facilities in more than 30 states, with a substantial presence in California, Arizona, Texas, New England, the Mid-Atlantic region and the southeast region of the country. InSight Health Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of InSight Health Services Corporation, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of InSight Health Services Holdings Corporation. J. W. Childs Equity Partners, a Boston-based private investment firm, and Halifax Capital Partners, a private equity firm, own all of the outstanding common stock of InSight Health Services Holdings Corporation.
