History

After completing a two-year intensive training program in psychodynamic psychotherapy and five years as the Clinical Director of a residential program for clients from the criminal justice system with dual-diagnoses, I decided to open my practice. Thirty-two years later, I am more engaged than ever. I have developed expertise in Trauma Therapy, working with early-childhood and past traumas as well as current traumatic experiences, such as rape, domestic violence and veterans with PTSD returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Working with individuals and couples on their relationships, looking at what makes them thrive and what makes them wilt, has become another specialty. Don't give up on your relationship! There is so much you are meant to learn and such great healing potential. I also consult and supervise; act as a Subject Matter Expert to the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners, participating in the construction of the LCSW exam and write Psychological Assessments .
