Humboldt County Office of Education

Located in Eureka, Calif., Special Services is a department of the Humboldt County Office of Education and offers a variety of instructional programs and support services. It also provides special education and suspension, expulsion and interdistrict forms. The department s instructional programs serve more than 400 students in grades seven through 12 at over five locations throughout the Humboldt County in California. Its instructional support services facilitate the transition of foster youth and homeless individuals from one educational institution to another. The department also provides special day classes that serve preschool, elementary, middle and high school students at various locations. Its infant and preschool special education services serves children up to 4 years with special education needs.
