Hula Tang Shave Ice

History

It started with a trip to Hawaii! Shave ice & Dole Soft Serve was a touristy thing to do. Loved it there in the islands! Came back to the mainland, but just could not find a shop that serve them with the same taste quality like how it is served in the islands. Took the liberty to research, talked to the locals from the islands, found the correct syrup flavors and learned the technique for shaving a block ice because I knew I needed to taste that authenticity again! When the right combination came together, I was jumping for joy! I knew I had something special! I enjoyed the delicious, flavorful, refreshing, soft, snow-like, melt in your mouth, cotton candy-like, and fluffy shave ice. So much so that I felt I needed to share with others because going to Hawaii for some quality shave ice is not an every day thing. We started to share our creation by doing back yard catering, which led to some fairs and events. When people took notice, two years later, here we are! Hula Tang Shave Ice!
