BCM Advanced Research is a worldwide provider of motherboard solutions for the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) industry, as well as the embedded and personal computer (PC) markets. BCM Advanced Research was founded in 1990, and later merged with GVC International. In February 2000, BCM separated from GVC in order to focus more on the vertical market applications of its products. While the company continues to support the PC segment with Intel- and AMD-compatible motherboards, BCM has expanded its design and manufacturing support to other markets. In addition, BCM has launched a vertical market program that provides motherboard solutions to the non-traditional PC arena where product longevity, local ECO and engineering support are deemed as critical elements to an application. This program supports several industries, including the ATM/POS, gaming and entertainment, industrial, medical and telecommunications markets. In addition to its embedded solutions support, BCM welcomes all OEM requests where product development and project management for high-volume motherboard manufacturing is required. BCM also offers assembly line facilities in North America that operate on a BTO basis for both personal computers and specialized products that require integrated PC components.
