HistoryLondon Gate was first established locally in Pacific Beach in 1982 in a small corner shop approximately 400 square feet in size by the current owner, Michael Cheng. A few years later, the business moved into a larger vacant lot located at 1475 Garnet Ave and began operation there for the next 25 years. We've kept our traditional store philosophy of hard and dedicated services throughout the many years of operation and will continue to do so. Currently, we are in the process of moving locations once again to just 6 doors down the street located at 1451 Garnet Ave.SpecialtiesLondon Gate is a family run business, specializing in watch, clock and jewelry repair (and sometimes random small gadgets). The owner, Michael Cheng is a highly experienced watchmaker (over 35 years) and performs ALL watch and clock repairs on site. If Michael cannot repair your item, it will be VERY hard to find anyone else that can. We can do battery replacements, water resistance test, band sizing and band repairs while you wait or at least same-day pickup on certain procedures. We sell a variety of brands (new and pre-owned) for watches and clocks, including but not limited to: Rolex, Omega, Citizen, Seiko, Freestyle, Luminox, Casio, The One, Kennith Cole, and many more. We also carry a large array of fine jewelry such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc. as well as sizing and jewelry repair.
