UCPCC was founded in 1954. Today, we serve more than 1,100 children and adults, along with their families, with a broad range of disabilities and special needs, including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, traumatic brain injuries, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. aEUR<Central California which include Merced, Madera, Mariposa, Fresno, Kings, Kern, and Tulare counties. We recognize our students have a wide range of desires and needs, and we ensure everyone who walks through our doors has access to and opportunities for community engagement and life-enhancing programs. Arts & Agriculture in the Community students are increasing mobility, becoming advocates and increasing their social sphere. Center for the Arts & Technology goals include learning to use adaptive technology, growing food in our garden and selling works of art. Home Adaptive Program offers one-on-one exercise programs or educated integrated programs (either in the home or at the program site).

Incorporated in 1953, Arc Fresno provides a range of services to people with developmental disabilities, such as mental retardation, autism, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. It works with more than 60 businesses to provide educational and employment opportunities. The organization is accredited by The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission and is a member of the American Association on Mental Retardation. Arc Fresno provides training in carpet cleaning, mopping, sweeping, window washing and restroom maintenance services. The organization also offers training for landscaping services, such as mowing and edging, weed abatement, and hedge trimming and shaping. Arc Fresno is located in Fresno, Calif., and provides nutritional counseling services. It organizes a range of recreational activities, including arts and crafts classes bowling leagues and field outings.
