Hooters

The Hooters chain, open since 1983, features a casual, beachy atmosphere with oldies jukebox music, a sports bar and a menu that includes seafood, sandwiches, salads and spicy chicken wings. The world-famous Hooters girls are the restaurant's cornerstone; their uniform consists of orange shorts and a white tank top. The chain promotes itself as a neighborhood place--although, not surprisingly, 68% of its customers are male--but a children's menu is offered. Happy hour features half-price appetizers; on Tuesday, AYCE wings; and on Sundays kids eat free all day. There are parking lots in the area with the first two hours free.
