Welcome to McBrayer's Hometown Cafe. My family has been a part of Corning since the 1930's. When the opportunity was made for me to purchase the Hometown Cafe I thought it fitting to name it after my family whom have called Corning Hometown for more than 80 years. Cute little diner. The food was good. I got a tuna melt and my sister got a French dip. Fries were even delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive.

I eat at this Denny's location about 5 times a year and usually I have had a good experience. This November however, I was disappointed. The drinking water was not good. The eggs were so runny....

This is a Classic American Eatery. The breakfast - good portions, outstanding sausage gravy. Good pancakes and huge. Lunch - oh my. Perfect big Burger or a Senior smaller burger. Wonderful fries...
