I am not a fan of churches, but I went here when I was young with my friend because I was curious about church. I went here for a year and I like the fact that we got free Korean food at the end....

Holy Hill Community Church is a Korean Christian institution, located in historic Echo Park. Primarily the church caters to Korean Americans, but there are also English services — while their website is almost entirely written in Korean, they accept people from all backgrounds. Head Pastor Bang Dong Seop spent the beginning of his career in New York, had a stint in Korea as a seminary professor. He now carries the title American Holy Church Pastor. I camped on that hill in 1977 , there were only ruins of some ancient building. And homeless people. Thank god my friends came back for me. I think it's a very holy hill. Was for me, someone was...
