Apple Canyon Center, located in Mountain Center, Calif., operated by Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, is a nonprofit organization that provides cost-free camping opportunities for children with cancer and their families. Apple Canyon Center is a member of the American Camp Association and International Association of Conference Center Adminstrators. It provides meal services. The camp offers various sports, such as basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, tennis, gymnastics, badminton, football, Frisbee, rugby and cricket. Additionally, it offers hiking, arts and crafts, outdoor living skills, swimming, fishing, dancing and dramatics. Apple Canyon Center offers two outdoor campfire areas, a large swimming pool, basketball courts, play fields and carnival tent for hosting outdoor assemblies and dances.
