In 1962, Holiday Market established its first store on historic Front Street in Cottonwood, California. Today the company still has its headquarters on Front Street, taking pride in its small-town roots. There are now fourteen Holiday Market stores in Northern California and Southern Oregon, all of which are owned and operated by North State Grocery, Inc., an 100% Employee-Owned Company.

The service from the checker and the bagging person was unfriendly. I felt like I was interrupting them. With the prices at the store, they need to at least be somewhat friendly.
