Hirsch Hubcaps world headquarters is located about two hundred and seventy miles north of San Francisco, in Arcata, California. This quaint, coastal community is nestled in the heart of Redwood Country and is also home to Humboldt State University, an 800+ acre Community Forest and the world famous Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. Ed Hirsch founded Hirsch Hubcaps in Humboldt County in 1984, working out of a 1965 Dodge Dart and storing extra inventory in a closet. I'd bring hubcaps from car lot to car lot and try to make a sale, he remembers.
