History

Higher Ground Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was the first to offer Jiu-Jitsu instruction in the Rowland Heights area. Since opening, Higher Ground has established a great group of students ranging from ages 4 to 55 years of age. HGBJJ members range from serious competitors, working professionals and undergrads. Higher Ground BJJ is an affiliate of well known and respected Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu, which is lead by IBJJF Hall of Fame brothers Saulo and Xande Ribeiro. Together, we have and continue to offer the best Jiu-Jitsu instruction in the area.
