History

Hi-Definition Hair Salon Lela Lober and son Max Lober opened up Hi-Definition Hair Salon in late 2013. The goal was to combine Leela's strong European influence with Max's modern style. Leela opened up her first shop in Berlin Germany in 1980, and sold it 5 years later to move to America with her son Max. Grooming and style certainly runs through their blood. The shop started with 4 chairs and the business quickly grew. In 2016 the long tenure of Leela Lober (40+ years behind the chair) came to an end. You can still find her popping in and out of the shop delivering towels and chatting it up with clients. She is a social butterfly and her legacy continues. In 2017 Max took over the business and the second half of the building to expand the shop 7 total chairs.

Specialties

We are a small, upscale, boutique located in the outskirts of Walnut Creek. We have our own parking lot on site! Here at Hi-Definition we have hand selected highly trained professionals that have 10+ years experience in the industry. We pride ourselves on our accessibility and our high quality work.
