I've flown in and out of FAT plenty of times to visit the national parks and to visit wine country. This airport is quite small and I've seen check-in for luggage back up almost to the rental...

The FAT airport is under major construction inside. They are doing a major revamp of concessions inside the airport. Ike's Love and Sandwiches, Einstein Bagels and Mad Duck all inbound to FAT....

They are expanding with more gates and food! Nice medium sized airport with flights to 15+ locations. TSA Pre line is usually short but the standard line can get crazy. 100+ people with one TSA...
