Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library (HBFoL) has been supporting the Hermosa Beach Public Library and promoting reading literacy and education in the community since 1959. Through various programs such as Book READCycle and children's activities, HBFoL enhances community engagement while providing essential resources to underserved schools and families.
With an annual contribution of $27,000 to the library and over 44,000 book donations processed each year, HBFoL plays a vital role in fostering a love of reading and a sense of community in Hermosa Beach. Their efforts also include supporting the Little Free Library network, ensuring that the joy of books reaches every corner of the city and beyond.
