Help the Children

Founded in 1991, Help The Children is a nonprofit public corporation organized for charitable purposes. Located in Calabasas, Calif., the organization promotes the welfare of children with physical disabilities and life-threatening diseases. It provides furniture, clothing, toys and nonperishable food items to various charitable institutions, including Union Rescue Mission, Kidsave International and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The organization also serves children with learning and language disabilities. Its volunteers work with several faith-based entities to collect, organize and distribute materials to areas affected by natural disasters. Help The Children is a part of the International Children's Charity Foundation and is supported by donations of private citizens and other organizations.
