Carolyn (Carly) Hwang received her master degree from Yale University. Carly recognizes that the transformation to parenthood is much more than simply the birth alone. She enjoys working with women and their families to have an integrated, and empowered pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. Carly believes in shared decision making, recognizing that while she has formal training in Midwifery, the people she cares for are the experts in their own bodies and their own specific physical, emotional, and informational needs. In addition to being a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Carly has completed further studies to become a Certified Lactation Counselor, and can offer guidance for the breast feeding mother.

Erinn has been a nurse midwife practicing in the Bay Area since 1998. Originally from New York City, Erinn began her career in 1991 as an assistant midwife at The Childbearing Center. She moved to California and received her Masters degree in Nurse-Midwifery at UCSF. Since graduation, she has worked in the Bay Area in clinics as well as attending births in homes, at birth centers, and at MarinHealth Medical Center and San Francisco General Hospitals. In 2005, Erin founded a group prenatal care program called the Centering Pregnancy Program at Marin Maternity Services. She also serves as the OB Program Manager for Marin Community Clinics and has continued to oversee the Centering Pregnancy program.
