HealthView Home Health, founded in 1967 as San Pedro Residential Center, is a nonprofit corporation serving the elderly, mentally ill and disadvantaged. It is a subsidiary of HealthView and specializes in providing home health care services to individuals in need of nursing, rehabilitative and supportive services in their home. The center s home health professional team comprises registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, home health aides, physical, speech and occupational therapists and medical social workers. It offers home health aids, infusion therapy, medical social workers, rehabilitative treatment, diet counseling and provision of medical supplies. HealthView Home Health is located in Long Beach, Calif. The center serves more than 500 clients daily in southern California with a staff of over 300 service and health care professionals.
