Health Sport is a health club studio located in Arcata, Calif. It offers a variety of programs and classes, such as strength conditioning, Pilates, karate and massage. The facility features racquetball and basketball courts and organizes several youth programs that include fit camp, swim lessons and birthday parties. Its fit camps for children between 5- to 12-years offer various fun and physical activities. The club provides private and semi-private lessons in aqua aerobics, personal training, a wide selection of recumbent and stationary bikes, and basic and multilevel yoga in ashtanga style and vinyasa flow. Health Sport s five-lane lap pool is heated to 82 degrees. Its educational branch, HealthSPORT Academy, provides training in different skills to become a personal trainer that include nutrition and weight loss skills, stress management and strength building.
