Hayward acquired T & H Lumber in 2013 and then built a new facility at the current location. T & H Lumber was a family owned business like Hayward, with deep roots in the Redwood City community. T & H served a long list of builders, contractors, concrete companies, and landscapers for many years before becoming Hayward. When you visit the new facility, you can see pictures of the old T & H operation throughout the facility, and you can visit with Carol Ebner, one of the original T & H family members. The Hayward Redwood City Design Center represents the consolidation of a number of locations of the former Douglass Enterprises windows and doors throughout the Bay Area for many years.
