Haute Dog Howl'oween Parade is organized by the Haute Dog organization, a diverse network of dog owners, lovers, educators, rescuers, and supporters in Long Beach, CA. Through educational outreach and events, they aim to promote a better understanding and appreciation of dogs, encourage responsible ownership practices, and provide adoption and rescue opportunities.
The event, now in its 22nd year, features a parade of costumed dogs, a pet adoption fair, vendor booths, and a costume contest for kids and adults. Proceeds from the event support the nonprofit Community Action Team CAT, which benefits children, animals, and the environment in the local community.
