Harrington Wines, established over twenty-five years ago, initially focused on Pinot Noir but has since expanded its offerings to include a diverse range of obscure Old World grape varieties. The winery emphasizes clean, vibrant, and stable wines through small-lot fermentations with minimal manipulation in both vineyard and cellar.
In addition to a collection of single vineyard Pinot Noirs, Harrington produces wines from grapes such as Nebbiolo, Corvina, and Trousseau, and has partnered with the Foundation Plant Service at UC Davis to introduce new virus-free grapevines from Europe. Their Terrane line is particularly notable for its commitment to organic sourcing and the absence of sulfur compounds during preservation.
