Harmon Johnson

Harmon Johnson Elementary School offers academic and social education to more than 450 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. It is governed by the North Sacramento School District, which was established in 1914 and serves over 4,500 students. The school s curriculum includes reading, writing, math, Spanish, social studies, science and physical education. It has a library and media center that offers text, supplemental and recreational reading books for students and parents. Harmon Johnson Elementary School provides various extracurricular activities that include a student council and monthly family nights. It has a parent-teacher organization, as well as a cafeteria and computer lab. The school offers special education and Title I programs.
