Harker School

The Harker School is a private, coeducational, college preparatory school serving students in grades kindergarten through 12. It has various departments that include English, mathematics, science, computer science, history, communication studies, and performing and fine arts. The school has an athletic department that offers a wide range of activities, such as water polo, football, volleyball, baseball, golf and tennis. In addition, it offers physical education classes, including fencing, aikido, swimming and weightlifting. Located in San Jose, Calif., the school has three campuses, including lower, middle and upper. It enrolls more than 1,500 students from throughout the Greater Bay Area, including San Jose, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Fremont and Morgan Hill in California. The Harker School is approved by the California Association of Independent Schools, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and the National Association of Independent Schools.
