Harbor Hills Housing Project

The Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles provides affordable housing for low-income families, senior citizens and people with disabilities. It manages more than 3,600 housing units at over 70 sites throughout Los Angeles County, Calif. The housing authority helps more than 20,000 low-income families and senior citizens find affordable housing with private landlords through the federal Section 8 program. It has an administrative plan that outlines the policies and procedures governed by the housing choice voucher program. The Housing Authority Resident s Scholarship, established in 1996 by the employees of the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission and the Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles, provides individual scholarship awards to residents. The Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles maintains a location in Lomita, Calif.
